Danni the owner was so friendly and a great instructor. They facilitated a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I ended up leaving my 3-week session with two new friends and some rare experiences. I’d never thrown on a wheel before. So cool! I wasn’t good at it but Danni helped me through it, even though i wasn’t a good sport. (Sorry!) I will be back. The 3-week session was $250 which is pennies given everything you get. 1:1 instruction, unlimited clay, professional supplies and equipment, and as many pieces as you were able to create in the time frame. Thank you so much

My husband and I took a 3 week ceramics course at Daffodill a few months ago and absolutely loved it. The class was well structured, easy to follow and fun. Danni is an amazing instructor and does a great job at explaining things and creating a low key, welcoming class environment. We'll definitely be taking more classes in the future.

Had an amazing experience at this studio! I took a rug tufting workshop over 2 days and loved it! Small class and personal attention. Ended up with a great piece at the end! Emily did a great job instructing and answering all of our questions. I will definitely be looking at the other workshops offered! The ring making workshop looks fun 😊 Also they require Vaxx cards because they care. If you have an issue with that then go somewhere else.

Daffodill Studios is the coziest, most welcoming, and worthwhile third space I’ve had the pleasure of spending time in! I knew I’d book another class as soon as my first finished. The studio is bustling and filled with the warmth of being well-loved, but also feels like a simple, quiet and tidy blank canvas for you to fill with creation. The founder, Danni, is enterprising, supportive, and focused; they are easy and fun to communicate with. They humbly possess a wealth of knowledge that they seem to truly enjoy sharing. Danni’s commitment to fostering community via their craft and providing a joyful place to do it in is so appreciated and needed, and reminds me of the Portland I grew up in!

There’s more than just pottery. Sign up for yourself or gift a class to someone you love!
