I ask a lot of questions & she answers them with such kindness, grace and explorations I took both Hand-building 1 & 2 class. I’ve been going to Pursuits for about a year after the classes for drop in workshops & open studio to work on different projects. I’ve been able to create some mugs for friends, vases, and even a lamp. .The environment is super friendly for both newbies and experienced ceramicists. It is such a kind & judgement free zone. Folks give you the space to work solo or you can join in on convo, everyone is friendly.

I had always wanted to experience hand building but was so intimidated by all of it! Where do I start? where do I go? who will teach me? I asked the universe for a sign and there it was... April's neighborhood signs posted just outside my fav pizza joint. I signed up and stepped outside of my comfort zone and I am so pleased I did. April is patient, supportive and incredibly talented. She made us all feel welcome and supported through our own journeys into the ceramic world. I have since graduated from Hand Building I & II and now am charting the open studio territory.
