Divvy made touring around Chicago not only a pleasure, but possible. I had a sprained ankle when we visited. Walking about town wasn’t an option. Fortunately, and to my surprise, I was able to bike without pain. Divvy had easy pick up and drop off locations all over the city. I think we should have downloaded the app, instead of just purchasing tickets from the kiosk. Reason being was that we couldn’t seem to rent the electric bikes. That said, Chicago is flat, so no auxiliary power needed. Thanks Divvy!

My family and I (4 of us) wanted to rent bikes for the day, but had a terrible experience w Divvy. First, it was confusing because there's the Lyft app and the Divvy app- so which one? And it wasn't clear how long you could be out at a time 30, 45, or 3hrs... Ditched the app and tried the kiosk when there were finally 4 bikes at the station. Got it to work, but then only 2 bikes worked. So in deperation, we frantically walked to another station. None there worked w our code. So we walked back to the first one. None worked. AND the system mistakenly said we had checked out 3 bikes. So we got charged for 4 rentals and only got 2 bikes... AND we got charged $30 extra because the 3rd bike got taken from someone who had it out for a long time. This was all really frustrating and a total ripoff.
