The bike was fully functional besides that—everything else was working just fine. When I got it back, not only was the controller still messed up, but now the bike has more problems than when I dropped it off. Brakes were off, wiring was sloppy, and it felt like no real care was taken during the repair. Even worse? They charged me $500 for this mess, and offered no real explanation for the cost. No call during the process, no warning, and no accountability. When I brought up the issues, they brushed it off like it was my fault. This was a complete waste of money and trust. My bike is worse off now, and I’ll have to pay someone else to actually fix it. Do not bring your bike here if you care about quality or honesty.

I had a seamless experience w/ Electric Avenue Bikes signing up for the moto license. Sue and Lonny were our instructors and they were amazing. They both had a passion for riding, a continuous focus on safety, great coaching, positive feedback, patience and respect for our time. I recently took my e-bike to electric avenue for a repair, and I have to say, the experience was extremely disappointing. After a week, they informed me that the controller needed to be replaced, which cost an additional $150. I agreed, but after another week, I called to follow up only to find out they hadn’t even ordered the part. Communication was terrible, and there seemed to be no coordination among the staff. Eventually, they ordered the part, but when they installed it, the bike started smoking. After spending around $600 and waiting two months, not only was the bike not fixed, but they also blamed me for the wiring issue. This entire process has been incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend electric avenue to anyone looking for reliable service. Please avoid this shop if you value your time and money.
