I just felt a couple of nibbles on my fishing line, but the view is beautiful.

Like with all public access to the water, good weather is a must. There’s plenty of spots to park your belongings when there’s more than a handful of people. I’ve been coming here since last summer, and it’s a nice semi-secluded area to hang out.

It is just off the highway but you don't really know. It is a clean well kept fishing area where you can have a great time even if the fish aren't biteing. A good place to experience nature and enjoy the wonderful Falls Lake. Only 10 minutes or less from I540 via Six Forks Road or Creedmoor Road to NC98. Be sure to pick up more trash and fishing line than you bring in and keep our resources clean and enjoyable. Even if you are intent on having a party you can still take all of your trash and then some to leave public areas nice for others.

Hidden gem in the wilds of North Wake County. There are nice benches for sitting and a scenic swamp completed by the Bald Cyprus trees. Bass (White and Largemouth), Crappie, Bream, and Catfish are available for The deft fisherperson to catch. The fishing grounds are a very short walk from ample parking.
