I'll tell you what. I've been venturing into this metropolis a lot lately, and my travels being me to the 8500 Block of Greenwood approximately 1.5 times per week. I don't drink beer, (gluten,) but Flying Bike has a TON of gluten-free alternatives. If you get here soon enough, try the Channel Marker Habanero Lime Cider. It's AMAZING! Other than that, the Taproom attendant/Beertender... whatever they're called now, Christian is super friendly and helpful. I recommend this place as a great pit stop! If you're here on a weekend in the evening, after you stop here, go to the Shanghai Room a few doors down for some comedy.

Dropped in to check this place out and it has such good vibes and not to mention great beer! I got the baranof and my partner got the blackberry/raspberry sour! Had to catch some dinner at a place in the area but dog friendly, people BYO food (I think) and friendly people. Will visit again!

Consistently has some of the best beers in the area (in an area of really fantastic beers), which is probably in part due to the co-op aspect of the place - you get the very best of multiple brewers. This also means their range is excellent - they usually have solid representations of most styles of beer. They also have a great ethos and super chill vibe which makes it a great place to hang out and play games or chat with friends. They encourage outside food, to the point they have pretty decent metal utensils on hand if you forget some. Great place if you want to get takeout and just have dinner there for the excellent drinks. In terms of negatives, the place ends up swamped with children at times, and can get kind of smelly and muggy. It's a brewery in an ancient building they don't own, so I totally get there's only so much you can do to contain it, but it is still a negative. But that's it, really - I strongly recommend a visit.

Flying Bike was a nice brewery stop on a busy Saturday. I didn't adore each beer we tried, but I appreciated the options available and the vibes were relaxed.

I Have been to this brewery several times and the beer has been okay. I went this weekend on a nice summer day, and thought I would try their watermelon slush drink that was on special. To say that the beverage was pure sugar would be an under statement. It was a sugar coma waiting to happen. I have never wanted to return a drink before, but I mustered up the courage to ask the bartender if I could please exchange it for anything else, as the slush was undrinkable. She was not very friendly, and needless to say, I was unable to exchange it for an alternative. It is my fault for ordering their slush, but the customer service was not very helpful.
