Asked for an "American sandwich," listed first on their Boar's Head board as having both turkey AND roast beef (American cheese and - appropriately - Russian dressing). Charged $7.50 (no prices on the board), which is reasonable. But no roast beef on the sandwich! If you're out of it, just tell me. I'll never be back, especially after reading your other reviews.

Great ambiance at this place with friendly staff. I recently saw a review saying they don’t serve people of color, which is odd because every person who works here is a person of color. We came in with a group of two black girls, one hispanic girl, one white girl, one black man, one white man, and one hispanic. They saw we were drunk and turned the whole store into a dance floor for us. Music loud, employees dancing with us, etc. Was a beautiful experience. These people are kind. I’m sure if you treat them with respect, they will treat you with respect as well. The food and prices here are reasonable.

This place is racist and blatantly refuses service to people of color. It’s 2024 and this is not something anyone should have to deal with especially in NYC with other minorities.

5 stars for their hero subs! Unclear if the boars head sandwich menu is actually available for purchase (I was told no when ordering the San Remo) but the printed menu of specialty sandwiches are wonderful, especially for the price. The honey honey is my fave!
