Bought some new shoes and wanted to break them in at Central Park, so used the lockers to store some gear. Location of this place is very convenient, right next to Central Park and trains. Entire facility is super clean. They have an awesome mini wall with some history of the NYC Marathon, that alone makes it worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I wouldn’t be writing this review if I didn’t already see the problem-person’s name in another recent review, and if I didn’t have a pretty negative experience with this person. I went to pick up two bibs today and was assisted by Ingrid. Horrible attitude from the beginning. I had an issue with an old QR code (it was downloaded from the new NYRR dashboard a week ago and saved in my wallet). For whatever reason it didn’t work so I needed to get it from my email. Fine - but that one was only good for tomorrow’s bib, not next week’s. It took too long for NYRR Dashboard to finally load so I could login and get the code she needed. She was the opposite of helpful. She was condescending and extremely rude and impatient. There were other staff open to help other people. I kept trying to login to the new dashboard to get a new QR code and the server was down (since the new dashboard migration, the server is ALMOST ALWAYS down for me). She made me feel like crap. I’ve never experienced this with anyone working the bib pickup. This is my third year doing 9+1 so I’ve been helped many times at the run center. This time was different because of who was “helping” me. I get that everyone has bad days but seeing that there was another bad review naming this person a week ago, perhaps it’s a pattern. I’ve worked in customer service for 14 years. I’ve had my fair share of bad days and bad customers. I was not a bad customer today. And even on my worst days, I wouldn’t have this kind of attitude with a customer who wasn’t being mean or rude or angry. I’m truly sorry to have to leave this review.
