Date: 8/11/25, 6:30 AM – King Soopers I’ve been a loyal King Soopers customer for years I do 100% of my grocery shopping here. However, today’s experience was so unpleasant that I’m seriously reconsidering shopping at this location. This morning, I came in a rush. After checking out, I left my cart in front of my car, in a spot where it was NOT blocking traffic or any parking space. An employee, an African American man who was outside at the time, approached me in a very rude manner, grabbed the cart, and stared at me with a hostile look. Even though I was in a hurry, I rolled down my window to ask if there was a problem. He refused to answer and just walked away, still giving me an unfriendly, confrontational look. I have always understood that collecting carts is part of the job for employees assigned to that task, not something customers should be made to feel bad about especially when the cart was not in anyone’s way. This behavior was completely unacceptable. I strongly urge management to address this issue, as no loyal customer should be treated this way.

This store has a kiosk in it for motor vehicle tags. Didn't work for me but this king soopers had so many homeless people hanging around it's definitely a wake up call for how things are going in the world. Scary.

Going early in the morning is the best experience. This may be listed as one of the worst grocery stores in Colorado, but depending on time of day, and regardless of clientele loitering about, this business does a good job despite the economy, high prices everywhere and location. Staff puts up with a lot. It is a bastion of hope and relief from the food deserts nearby. Grocery stores are a necessity. Stop complaining, suck it up and spend your money. You'll be glad you did.
