I'm actually shocked. You can get two carts down an isle. The store is clean. The shelves are stocked. There's cashiers happily checking people out. I really hate grocery shopping, this was the nicest experience I've had in a Denver grocery chain. Ever.

all the staff are actual zombies with 0 emotions . Also good luck getting anyone to open the glass doors. there has not been ONE time that i've come here where pushing that button does anything. I've had hunt down employees EVERY time, I even went to guest services and they radioed, Still nobody came so I left bc i'm not going to spend 10 mins searching for someone. Walmarts way of preventing theft, only prevents guests from shopping with them. It's not the employees fault if they're short staffed, but will not return. Nobody will care sadly, and losing a customer won't do anything, but do yourself a favor and just go to target on havana or safeway/kingsoopers.

The clerks at this store are dedicated and capable. There are many very good foods here and the store is a hub for people of various countries and cultures. It is easy to find good pricing here except for the eyesdrops in the pharmacy, which prices are sky high for tiny portions.

This is definitely the worst Walmart I have been to across the United States. As soon as you walk in, there is a weird “ghetto” feeling. There are shelves empty (that could be because of the tariffs, but from past replies I’m thinking that’s not a new scenario). I noticed that their boxed juice aisle is more lacking than any Neighborhood market I have been too. They understandably have their valuable products (such as skincare) behind glass cases with a button present. I have no problem with this. However, after I pushed the button and an older staff member with long brown hair and glasses came over to “help” me, she seemed very annoyed that I was bothering her. I requested to look at the items to compare ingredients and she just told me they would “be at the cart up front” I didn’t understand her at first and she just turned and walked away with both of the products. I don’t know where she was going. I’m not a regular at this store and don’t know the weird policies they have at this specific Walmart (I don’t even know if they are allowed to have an “in house” policy beyond using the cases). Anyways, I lost her trying to keep up because she had the items I wanted to look at, then she walks past me without the products in hand. So I ask her, “uhm, where did you put them?” She was difficult to understand again and had an attitude, but she pointed to the wall by the exit where there is a back room cart stationed with what I assume are other frequently stolen items customers requested access to. So I walk over there PAST the register to compare ingredients. I left the other item there, naturally since I can’t put it back. I don’t understand why the case, the MANY cameras around the store, and staff at checkout aren’t enough to prevent theft. How does putting an item by the exit prevent it from being stolen? It also seems like it puts the employees in a potentially confrontational situation. Because I was quite flustered and honestly angry at the extreme interruption in the middle of my shopping trip. I can’t imagine how someone more unhinged than I might respond to this. If this is the policy they are going with, why aren’t we communicating with our customers to let them know they can interact with their product AT CHECKOUT. Language barriers aside, it’s just a matter of giving a quick script in the morning huddle. Also, why have only self checkout available if theft is a problem? It is so easy to pretend to scan one item while scanning a bunch of groceries. The “creative solutions” in this store seem to be lacking in sound reasoning. Someone else said it best in these comments, “I was treated like a criminal” for going shopping and giving them my money. No thank you. I will not be back. And I hope my one star helps bring your rating down. Because my morning was great until that moment.

Absolutely massive. Aisles are twice as long as lots of other stores. A lot more options to choose from, and everything is stocked. And instead of everyone cramming in and out of the same entrance, there is one exit and one entrance.
