This theatre is small but mighty. The decor brings you back to the olden days of Broadway. The staff is great! The ushers are super helpful. The merch clerks are pleasant and not pushy. The house staff is fantastic, with a big shoutoit to Elizabeth who helped re-seat me. I had a seat in the mezz but those seats are not made for people over 6 feet tall. I'm 6'7" and it wasn't gonna happen. She was able to get me a real chair and I could enjoy the show. If you are tall, or husky, go for orchestra-level seats. Overall a wonderful experience. I went to see SIX and it fits the venue perfectly. The show is spectacular, too! I highly recommend both the Lena Horne Theatre and the musical SIX.

The Lena Horne Theatre is one of those Broadway spots that really makes you feel close to the action. The venue is smaller and more intimate compared to some of the bigger theaters, so you’re never too far from the stage. It definitely gives the whole experience a more personal touch, which I loved. The atmosphere is beautiful with lots of classic charm and really nice wall details and decorations that add to the old-school Broadway vibe. You can tell the theater has a lot of history, and it’s just a nice space to spend an evening. The only downside was that some of the words were a bit hard to make out from where I was sitting. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but if you’re looking for perfect acoustics, it’s something to keep in mind. That said, these kinds of things can be tough to control in historic spaces. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend catching a show here if you like theaters with personality and a cozier feel!

Beautiful theatre! The staff was super friendly and with the theatre being small, every seat was a great view. The sound quality was amazing. Only downside is how tight the rows are, once you're seated, it's a nightmare to have to get out of your row for anything, so try to use the bathroom and get your drinks/snacks before you sit down!

The Lena Horne Theatre is a beautiful, historic venue with great acoustics and an intimate feel. Six: The Musical was an absolute blast — high-energy, fun, and packed with catchy songs. The show reimagines Henry VIII’s six wives as pop stars, and it’s a must-see for a fresh, empowering night out! We loved it 😍 recommend it!

We went to the Six on a Thursday evening. The show was wonderful. The theater was beautiful and I'd say every seat has a good view due to the size. Seats were a bit tight but not bad. However...the doors opened at 6:50 and we were shuttled in in rapid fire. The attendees were shouting and rushing everyone. Yelling that we better use the bathroom because there was no intermission. It seriously felt like TSA instead of a classy broadway show experience. As this was our only show of the trip and my moms first broadway show, the experience took the magic away. Wouldn't opening the doors earlier lead to higher concessions and merchandise purchases anyways? We were equally shuttled out at the end leaving no time to even see the merchandise available.
