I had an excellent time with Marissa Dive Charters. Before my dive even started, I confided in Captain Lora that I did have a pre-existing heart condition. But, as opposed to other dive charter companies I tried, she was able to contact her insurance company in order to make sure it was okay, so long as I had a clearance letter from my cardiologist. I felt she really went above and beyond, and was very kind about it. Once I got to the boat, everything went quite smoothly. The crew, Chris and Nate, were wonderful, and so helpful. They had hot beverages and snacks. They helped me quite a lot with my gear. Connor's Canyon Pinnacle, and Lost City kelp Forest were amazing dive sites. We got buzzed by a sea lion. I I've never been diving in a kelp Forest before, and this was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Lora is so sweet and The Marissa is an incredible boat with a layout that is great for entertaining. THE PERFECT BAY CRUISE! The stern is mostly covered which provides a comfortable environment, whether it’s cold out and you’re looking for warmth or very sunny out and you’re looking for shade. The bow is very spacious and can be enjoyed when the boat is anchored. There were about 15 of us and we all fit comfortably. The speaker onboard was epic too - we had such a great time! Bonus points because the bathroom was the cleanest I’ve ever seen on a boat. The Marissa comes with everything you could possibly need!
