Amazing company to work with. I needed tasers and taser accessories for my school and security company. The gentleman Joel Sappenfield helped me throughout the entire process. He even gave us a great discount. We ended up purchasing the whole lot. We ended up having some issues with our batteries, Joel came to the rescue and fixed that issue. Amazing person and amazing company! Highly recommended! Honest and reputable.

This store lots of items at a discount: cosmetics, electronics, groceries, clothes and other items. Some products the prices are not much different from the store. Some electronics are only about 10-15% discount from the store.

Shopped there yesterday (Saturday), which was apparently a good time to shop. Saturdays are usually really bad, though. Honestly, any time is bad. Checkout lines are insanely long, and it's just messy. You can find great deals if you're willing to pick through all the outrageously-priced garbage (seriously, who's pricing this stuff?). Their snack items, candy, and frozen foods tend to be the best bargains. I wouldn't touch most of their produce with a 10-foot pole. Employees are always friendly and love when you offer to bag your own stuff (and it usually gets you out of there faster, that way). Stuff sometimes scans at the wrong price so it helps to have someone with you so one can bag and one can watch the cash register.

The NPS Store in Salt Lake City has the best prices. Very affordable for most of their products. My mom and I drive from northern Utah county to SLC about 1-2 a month just to go to this store. It's worth the time it takes to get there. Before inflation happened in 2024, they used to give out some of their food products for free.

The salt lake one is best priced compared to the others I'm unsure why that is but I have noticed. Stop by slc branch one price for same product stop by orem and it is a different brick typically higher.

What kinds of activities does NPS Store offer for groups?

While primarily a discount warehouse, NPS Store offers a variety of activities that extend well beyond typical shopping, making it highly suitable for group meetups. One of the main draws is its auction-style pallet sales. These auctions can be particularly exciting for groups since they inject an element of thrill and strategy as friends can join forces to bid on pallets filled with assorted goods. This creates a dynamic, interactive experience that feels almost like a game, encouraging teamwork and lively discussion. Beyond auctions, the vast variety of merchandise ranges from household essentials to eclectic finds, allowing group members with different interests to indulge their individual tastes. Furthermore, the broad inventory encourages group exploration as each participant can embark on a small scavenger hunt through aisles packed with surprise deals. Unlike standard retail spots, this store’s warehouse ambience lends itself to longer browsing sessions, perfect for groups who enjoy leisurely socializing while shopping. These combined elements—the auctions, the diverse stock, and the spacious layout—transform a simple shopping trip into an engaging group event catered to a wide range of interests.

Why is NPS Store ideal for group meetups?

NPS Store’s size and setup make it especially accommodating for groups looking to hang out and shop together. The warehouse format provides plenty of space to spread out without feeling crowded, allowing friends or family members their own browsing zones while maintaining easy communication. This spatial freedom supports diverse group dynamics where some members can focus on finding specific deals while others enjoy casual browsing, all without disrupting the group’s flow. Additionally, the store’s operating structure encourages interaction—whether it’s team bidding during auctions or sharing tips on the best deals discovered during the visit. Moreover, NPS Store’s business model as a discount warehouse means your group can enjoy substantial savings, helping everyone stretch their budgets further while still having fun. Complementing this, the store’s location in Salt Lake City positions it near several convenient dining and entertainment options, perfect for continuing the meetup before or after your visit. This accessibility and the option to incorporate other leisure activities ensure your gathering at NPS Store can become part of a full-day outing. Ultimately, its blend of space, savings, social shopping, and location makes it a solid choice for vibrant group meetups.

How can groups maximize their experience at NPS Store?

Maximizing a group visit to NPS Store starts with a bit of planning and embracing the store’s unique shopping style. To begin, coordinating arrival times so everyone comes together can enhance the social aspect, allowing the group to start the adventure united. Engaging in the store’s pallet auctions is a great way to boost group excitement—users can pool resources or strategize bids as a team, which strengthens bonds and keeps the energy high. While exploring the store, dividing into smaller pairs or trios can streamline finding specific items, then regrouping to share discoveries and bargain tips. This method not only makes shopping more efficient but also cultivates richer conversation around the variety of goods on offer. It’s also essential to set a budget beforehand to keep spending enjoyable and stress-free. Finally, pairing the NPS Store visit with nearby restaurants or attractions can round out the day, ensuring your group’s time together is both fun and fulfilling. By combining preparation, shared activities, and flexibility, groups can turn an ordinary shopping trip into a memorable social event.

What makes NPS Store stand out compared to other meet-up spots?

NPS Store stands apart from typical social venues largely because it fuses the practicality of discount shopping with the excitement of discovery and group interaction. Unlike restaurants or entertainment centers, where the activity is mostly passive, NPS Store invites guests to actively engage with a broad array of products and auctions, creating dynamic experiences rooted in participation. This hands-on nature makes every visit different, as no two shopping hauls or auctions are ever the same. For groups, this variability adds layers of fun and unpredictability, which naturally promotes conversation and cooperative play that other environments might lack. Furthermore, the strong emphasis on affordability means everyone can participate fully without financial strain, an important factor for large or budget-conscious groups. Also, the warehouse's community-oriented vibe encourages camaraderie not just among visiting friends but often between customers as well, fostering a friendly atmosphere. When compared to standard meetup locations, NPS Store’s mixture of social shopping, savings, and space creates a uniquely engaging environment ideal for communal gatherings.

What should groups expect when visiting regarding the atmosphere and service?

Visitors to NPS Store can anticipate a straightforward, no-frills warehouse atmosphere that centers on value and variety. The environment is utilitarian, reflecting its focus on discounted goods rather than luxury aesthetics. That said, such an atmosphere contributes to the casual, down-to-earth vibe appealing to groups seeking relaxed, informal meetups. Groups should be prepared for self-directed experiences—while staff are present, the store functions more like a warehouse than a boutique, so shoppers often need to navigate and explore independently. Due to mixed reviews from different sources, some visitors note that service can occasionally be lackluster or less engaging than at typical retail stores, implying groups should focus on the experience and camaraderie rather than expect high-touch customer service. However, the store’s value proposition—quality discounts and an impressive range of products—often outweighs service quirks for those interested in bargain hunting. Overall, coming with realistic expectations about the environment and service will help groups appreciate the store’s strengths and enjoy their time together.

What logistics should groups consider before hosting a meetup at NPS Store?

Planning ahead can help groups optimize their visit to NPS Store. First, consider transportation and parking, as the store is located on Empire Road in Salt Lake City, an easily accessible area with parking facilities suitable for groups arriving together. Checking the store’s open hours beforehand is important to avoid arriving during closed times; the store generally maintains standard retail hours, but it's wise to confirm close to your visit date. Bringing reusable bags or carts can ease the process of collecting purchases, especially since the nature of a warehouse store means you might accumulate many items or heavy goods. Large groups might also discuss a meeting point within the store to avoid separation, given the spacious layout that could make regrouping difficult. Lastly, coordinating pre- or post-shopping plans with nearby dining establishments or attractions can ensure the meetup is more than just shopping but a full social experience. Considering these logistical points ensures the group’s time at NPS Store is smooth, convenient, and enjoyable.

How can NPS Store enhance social bonds during group visits?

NPS Store offers a unique platform where social interactions breathe new life into what might usually be just a routine shopping trip. The thrill of hunting for discounts or participating in auctions can ignite playful competition and shared victories that serve to deepen friendships and family ties. Working together to seek out deals encourages communication, collaboration, and collective decision-making, fostering a stronger sense of community within the group. Moreover, the varied assortment of products sparks conversation starters, leading to spontaneous moments of laughter and storytelling as group members compare favorite finds or trade tips. This active engagement contrasts with more passive group activities, providing memories rooted in shared effort and discovery. In addition, the informal warehouse setting strips away formal social pressures, allowing friends and family to relax, be themselves, and build bonds in an authentic, unpretentious environment. Overall, the experience of shopping at NPS Store with your group can transform a simple trip into a valuable opportunity to create lasting connections through shared excitement and mutual support.
