I love this place . The staff is kind and engaging. The clientele is diverse : the pools are , at least for me , the star of the show . The three salt pools are comfortable and meet my needs for both exercise and relaxation. The facilities are kept clean . No matter what time of day , there are always staff members cleaning ! It’s a total turnaround from other gyms I have been a member of . Cell phone use in the gym is limited , which I love. I feel that if you’re looking for a very nice place for wellness (especially if you like good pools), this is a great place to become a member of .

Just had a massage there from Rachel Suen. As someone with bad back issues and needing a deep tissue massage. I must say, she did an outstanding job! Very personable and makes sure your specific issues are addressed.

THIS PLACE IS A HUGE SCAM. Run away and save your money. I signed up in July 12 and payed almost $400 for the first month because of the initial fee. I should have ran at that point but i was sooo desperate to improve my fitness. This gym isn’t the type of place that will inspire you to get fit. Its outdated and they are scamming their members at that price. Now that my membership ends this month, I called to make sure I would get my remainder 12 days because I payed for a full initial month. “We don’t prorate months” & “you should have said something when you signed up” - actually, you guys shouldn’t be charging people for days they weren’t a member..& if you are, you should have the decency to give them the days they are owed. So i basically payed $400 for 2 weeks….that is insane. Trust me people, this is NOT a good gym with good business practices. Typical scammy membership gym that is outrageously overpriced for what they offer. They dont give a damn about you. They just want your money. I almost had to pause membership for a medical surgery, and they still charge you monthly during that time just FYI. Ridiculous and completely inconsiderate. I signed up primarily for the sauna but couldn’t bare to use it because the locker room has carpet and every time i went in the shower the cloth curtain would stick to me. I can only imagine how filthy it is. The dumbell area also has a rotten smell. With all the money they steal from members, you think they would update their Y2k style locker room to be more sanitary. ABSOLUTELY horrible. They think our money grows on trees. NOT WORTH IT, i’m warning you. If you decide to sign up anyways, make sure you wait until the first of the month so you at least don’t get scammed out of two weeks like i did. But either or you are getting scammed. You might be looking to this gym to start your 2025 fitness journey. Don’t do it. Trust me!!! You are better off doing at home workouts or going to another gym if you have a car.

March Wellness is a very clean, well maintained facility, spacious and the equipment is better than most. The free weights, work out rooms, mats and equipment are top notch. I like the vibe, the members are respectful of others, most of the staff is pretty cool. Some take suggestions hard and resist. In the end it’s like any other for profit gym. They’re going to do what they do. The place is pricey which subsidizes OHSU employee members. If you time it right, you can get a pool lane to yourself. Grand views of the waterfront, too, while you work out. The newer cardio equipment seems designed more as an App experience and for collecting your workout data than being simply user friendly. You should probably buy peripherals to wear to monitor yourself. The one nutrition class I took was pretty lame. Getting in and out of the parking garage with your gym card is difficult. So get a parking pass each time and get it validated! You can test the health club for $20 and see for yourself.
