As someone who's lived here for so many years in Los Angeles, I've never once went to the Getty Center until now and even if it's just this garden section, words can't describe how beautiful and scenic this whole area looks! Even during a holiday weekend, this section of the Center was packed with so many families and couples and I can definitely tell that it was a highlight for many others like myself. Although the paths leading into the inner parts of the garden eventually became narrower and narrower, the people around were respectful in terms of sharing space but I wouldn't blame some who were just captivated by the beauty that surrounds this area. Not pictured was on the other side where you can see the whole lot of the rest of west LA and the tiny bits of the Pacific ocean, glistening and dancing with the sunshine. I would recommend to come here during golden hour on a sunny day (3-5pm when the sun is setting) so you can get that picture-esque view whether for the memories or the gram.
