From the moment we entered this spot we felt so incredibly welcome. We were greeted by Kye at 6:15 who let us know happy hour ended at 6pm but if we ordered quickly we could still have a happy hour snack. It was a very kind way to start it off. Then Taylor took us on a rum adventure. She was so wildly knowledgeable it was a dream. After trying a few we were on our way, dreaming of when we would visit next!

Food was generally good. At least, the mains were great (we had the jerk chicken and poke bowl). The beef empanada was exceptional. I would pass on the papaya salad. Since there's no rating for drinks, I would've given it a 3 as they were just ok. Nothing to write home about. So it dragged food rating down to a 4. Service was impeccable and we loved them.

Walked to the Carlisle but they were closed for an event and the manager recommended I go to Rumba and grab a Cuban sandwich…I did just that and enjoyed every bit of it! Their take on a Barbados Rum Punch was delightful as well. Better on the island but that could be the sun and sand :)
