The building is a masterpiece of cheap construction. Even if you're not on the top floor like I am, prepare to hear your upstairs neighbors tiptoe like elephants and drag chairs like they’re summoning demons. Walls? Thin. Floors? Thinner. Ceiling? A speaker system for roof vibrations set to "earthquake." Speaking of the roof—ever tried sleeping through a low-frequency industrial hum that makes your body vibrate from the inside out? I have. For months. It's like living in a malfunctioning airlock. The noise is so relentless and unnatural, it starts to feel personal. Solis Hills doesn’t have a rooftop - it has a punishment device. But the most difficult part isn’t even the building. It’s the management. Communications frequently go unanswered. Promises are made and not kept. Tenants are told they can leave early - but only if they agree to sign a non-disclosure agreement that, weeks later, still hasn’t materialized. Meanwhile, we wait. And wait. Solis Hills has all the ambience of a white-collar prison, but with higher rent and worse sleep. It’s a place where problems linger for months, and management’s priority appears to be silence over solutions. Life here has become genuinely miserable. I wouldn’t recommend this experience to anyone—not friends, not enemies, not even people who talk during movies. Avoid this place like your health depends on it. Because, honestly, it might. **Update** Clarifying a misleading reply from “Solis Hills (Owner)” (see their reply below my review) I am updating this review to address a misrepresentation in the public response posted by "Solis Hills (Owner)". Contrary to what they claimed, my concerns were NOT escalated to their regional manager by the on-site team. In fact, after weeks of ignored emails and broken follow-through from the property manager, we had to escalate the issue ourselves by contacting Kane Realty directly. The implication that they recognized the severity of our concerns and took initiative to escalate them to their regional manager is simply inaccurate, and it underscores the pattern of deflection that has characterized much of our experience here. I’ve attached a new video from June 30, 2025 that shows the noise/vibration is very much ongoing. PLEASE NOTE! Due to character limits, I’ve edited the original review. Persistent HVAC vibration has made my apartment unlivable, and management’s response has only deepened my concern, especially after they offered an NDA attempting to silence me. Here’s why I feel compelled to share this. I moved in at the end of August 2024, drawn by the location and aesthetics. Two months later, I began noticing a constant low-frequency noise that's loud, pulsing, and paired with an intense vibration. It’s present most of the day, and especially disruptive at night. Imagine trying to sleep while a subwoofer hums through your walls. Earplugs and noise-canceling headphones don’t fully block it. I reported this issue in late December 2024. More than six months later, it’s still not resolved. I’ve recorded the noise, coordinated with maintenance and HVAC contractors, and kept following up, even when communication from management repeatedly broke down. The onsite maintenance staff were respectful and tried their best but the problem seems structural, possibly tied to how the rooftop HVAC units were installed without sufficient vibration isolation. I visited other units, hoping to transfer, but found the same disturbing hum in multiple apartments including on different floors. That’s when I realized this wasn’t an isolated issue, and staying or moving within the complex wouldn’t fix it. The physical and mental toll has been real. Six months of sleep disruption, stress, and anxiety. Hoping to leave without penalty, I asked to be released from my lease. Instead, I was offered a Non-Disclosure Agreement that would have prevented me from discussing the problem with anyone including friends or healthcare providers and required me to destroy all documentation. The language was broad and, frankly, alarming. It made me question whether the goal was to fix the problem or simply to contain it. I held off writing this for months, giving management every chance to address the issue. But I now believe others deserve to know. If you’re considering living here, be aware that serious mechanical noise and vibration may be part of your experience and that raising concerns may not lead to a meaningful solution. I am speaking only for myself, but I know I am not alone. This is not about blame, it’s about transparency and safety. Just wanted to give my thoughts about living here at Solis Hills. Been here about 7 months now. It is managed by Kane Residential. They seem to really care about the property. The Manager Anna Z. Is always very kind and approachable. The Asst Managers Sydney and Farrah are nice and welcoming. Whitaker, the Senior Leasing Specialist, is a real problem solver and always very helpful. They have a great maintenance team run by Carlos along with Frankie and Gordon, who work very well together. You can tell they take great pride in their work. Solis Hills is in a great location. For the most part, everything I do is within 4 miles which makes life very convenient.
