The staff is nice. The deli items are a bit pricey. Chicken legs are $3.50, other items are around the same price.

Husband was making a purchase and tried using my credit card. Clerk behind the counter was African American with dreads who told him my card was declined. I have over 9000 credit on this card with bill of 8.00 owing right now, no way it was declined. My husband left without the purchase and went up the street to 7-11 and made same purchase for 5.00 less with the same credit card. However the bank shows the card at Union market did go thru and is showing as pending as I am placing this review. The clerk refuses to remove the transaction and telling me to come back tomorrow to speak to his supervisor. I will be back tomorrow or I will placing a fraud investigation on this store.

It's a rare gem! A real NYC Bodega stuck in the middle of Chinatown!! A ratty drug-addicted crowd is usually present, and it can be noisy. No prices on anything, so all prices are up to Asian man behind counter behind bullet-proof glass!! Messy, not sterile. Filled with local Chinatown colorful customers. Stays open late. Just get in, get your snacks, and get out!! Man behind counter is friendly. If the thug behind you brandishes a gun, let him go first. Solid selection of beers and cold energy drinks.

Hidden gem for incredible fried chicken - they only sell drumsticks but they are fantastic

Notice that this is a convenience store--many of the reviews and pictures are from the train stations across the street. The store (not related to the train stations) has great service, and hot deli items.
