I was in the Scottsdale store on Friday evening. My objective was to drop off some donations, but of course I had to check what was new inside. Everyone is so friendly, kind and approachable. I met Vanessa who I believe is the store manager. She was delightful! She shared with me a little bit about the store and what amazing work all the volunteers do in helping customers. She is a fantastic advocate for the organization and I am so glad I met her. She told me about the extended hours at the Scottsdale store, so I’ll be by again after work now that the store is open until 6 PM.

It’s finally time to write a review of White Dove Thrift store, in Scottsdale, Arizona. We’ve been shopping here for almost 3 years. In fact, our home is mostly furnished with White Dove treasures. (yes, you can actually pick up furniture here for a bargain-Only Because it needs to get off the floor to make room for the next round of donations). The staff is always very friendly… What we’ve noticed the past year is the prices have gone up exponentially. It has become a high-end reseller store that offers half off of the retail price thrift store for goods that have been donated. Or in the case today, we found brand new items online for the same price being offered in the store via donation. The last several times we have shopped here, over the past year we have left empty-handed, also complaining to some of the staff about the prices… I’ve even heard from the staff that they agreed, and told us to make a phone call to the manager. Which we did. The remodel happened and now… The bargains are few and far between. Yes, it goes to a good cause…. We all understand that. Once again today, we left empty-handed from the overpriced thrift store. OPT 😏 Thank you for listening and taking into consideration your price gouging thrift store.
