I ordered something on 4/19 for my son bday on 4/30 I got no response no update on my order. For at least 5 days! Not until i reached out and asked whats going on. Took a day to reply and said it would take a day to check in in on the order which made me feel like i was buying from CHINA. Why would i have to wait for you to check an order i ordered 5 days + doesn’t make sense. Then to be told 10 days after i ordered something its not in stock and we will ship it later? ( when next fishing season). They finally shipped all but one of my purchases after i told them to cancel my order and i was reporting them to my CC company! Heard sorry plenty of times while i was asking about my order but that did absolutely nothing for me. Just because you say sorry it doesn’t make it better and give you a free pass to screw up. This was a gift for my son bought him other things so he had something to open in his bday. i don't need this gear anymore i wanted my money back but got told its in the mail after ordering it 2 weeks ago.

This place is going to crash quickly. Supposedly under new management/ownership, fishermans marine decided to let one of the best/favorite employees that the fishing industry has. Known as "Cookie Lady" Karen Isley has been a pillar in the fishing community for for nearly a decade. Many people, including my self, really only saw her as a reason to go shop at this store. As a guide that has spent tens of thousands of dollars there, probably will be taking my business else where due to this poor decision and others.

I bought a Rule bilge pump and wired it and tested it in a bucket of water and it didn't work, so I tried to return it and he said I couldn't because it was used. I asked how could I know if it worked if I didn't test it. All he would say is "policy". One less customer! Maybe more.

This place never has anything you need. The only reason I ever go there is to see Karen the “cookie lady” unfortunately they screwed that up as well. The management here is a joke. Also know many companies who won’t do business with them. Do your self a favor and make the drive to bobs.
