Advanced Courses lady with the red cruiser likes being stern as if she's teaching high schoolers. Got yelled at for a non-safety mistake anyone could have made because I didn't 'follow the rules'. Just felt like a power trip. Everyone else was fantastic, but prefer to stay away from instructors whose students are their superiority complex fuel.

Had a great time despite my miserable allergy flare up. My instructors were Rhino and Chris. Superb Coaches, very encouraging and informative. Kept the class engaged and entertained. I have a bike but I don’t ride it consistently and I have never been on the highway with it. Most of my riding performance is from muscle memory growing up in texas deep country riding 4 wheelers and mopeds. This class helped boost my confidence to get more practice in so I can get on the highway for some highway therapy. I am now interested in taking more advanced classes and being the best rider that I can be. Thanks Rhino and Chris! - Tee-

Took the EMTC Motorcycle Training Course this past weekend and I cannot stress how great of an experience this was. Rhino, Kenny, and Alex were incredible and they alleviated all of the nervousness I had the entire week leading up to the weekend of the course. No matter how inexperienced you are, I promise they will put you at ease and boost your confidence practically the moment you show up on Day 1. For anyone who may be a bit more timid and reluctant to take a course due to overbearing instructors, I promise that isn’t the case here; this is no shouting or screamfest, they perfectly balance gentle insightful training with stressing the inherent dangers that motorcycling can/will pose. I had never driven a motorcycle of any kind prior to the course and by the end of it, I genuinely felt like I could get on the road and at least handle the basics fairly easily. I will definitely be back for the intermediate course down the road!

I just finished the course in Chula Vista with Alex, Mary and Kristy(sp?) as my main instructors. These three were FANTASTIC instructors! Everything was very organized and the course progression is well-thought out. This course caters to the absolute beginner (me) with no experience on a motorcycle and progresses to the end to include cornering, shifting, quick stops, and getting up to speeds around 15-20mph. The vibe from all of the instructors was one of positivity and constructive criticism. Questions were encouraged and the answers were always thoughtful and thorough. Once I get more time on the bike, I’ll be back to take the Intermediate course.

I think the instructors did a fabulous job teaching the basics. They are very skilled and have years of experience. It is the perfect course for someone who has never rode a motorcycle before (like me) because they start off slow. They provided me with the tools I will need and a solid foundation to become a safe rider. I somehow also managed to get paired with the exact bike I was considering purchasing. They provide the bikes, aswell as helmets and gloves if needed.
