I have lived here for 6 years, since I first moved to Raleigh. Back when I moved it was fresh and trendy then over the years it started to fade into the background. New management came in a few years ago and renovated the whole place, they started hosting regular community events, hired an amazing maintenance staff, and really built up a newly thriving community. Couple names to mention: - Becki, the property manager, has always been incredibly responsive and works tirelessly to communicate updates and improve the community - CJ, the maintenance manager, is bar none the best I have every encountered. Every request that I have put in (I've done dozens in the last year along) has been taken care of within 24 hrs max and he does it with a smile and a warm greeting each time. If you want responsible staff who aim for quality of living improvements, you can't go wrong with the Maggie (at 401 Oberlin).

My roommate and I moved to Raleigh not knowing anyone, and living here has made the experience seamless! The Maggie is located in a great area where we can walk everywhere and meet friendly faces in and outside the building. The amenities are great and they host fun events throughout the year to bring the community together. 10/10 would recommend! On another note, the maintenance staff is the absolute best. They are both friendly and efficient. CJ has helped with any issue we ran into in a timely manner and it is always a pleasure running into him throughout the building.

Moving out of this apartment was the best thing that ever happened. It began on a Sunday morning around 3:30AM, when I heard water pouring from the ceiling and light fixture. I ran to the tenants room above me where the water was coming from and he had cracked his toilet, but did not know how to cut the water off. He had at least a 1/2” of standing water from his bathroom all the way to the front door. All of this water proceeded to drain into our apartment below and set off the fire alarm…once again at 3:30AM. This entire process was put in email immediately to the management of the apartment complex. Their only solution was to put a fan in our room with visible water spots everywhere on our ceiling. No mold prevention or abatement was even considered until we emailed several more times and demanded something be done. After finally getting some response, we lived with a plastic wall in our 2 bedroom apartment for several weeks. During this time they had the audacity to leave a piece of paper on our door about renewing a lease. This situation could not have been handled any more unprofessionally. They did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue in the tenants room that caused the issue, so I would not be surprised if mold is currently growing in our previous apartment or the apartment above. Live somewhere else if you have the option!!
